People may like to take this opportunity to mention what their favourite dance (or dances) is/are ... perhaps adding your thoughts about what makes it a favourite ... this could be the first one you learned, or a tricky one that was a bete noire until finally mastered, or one that evokes happy memories of a particular occasion, or because the figures in the dance depict the name or associated story, or where the "right" music is inextricably entwined with why the dance is enjoyable ...
In case a memory jogger is helpful ... there is a list (including minicribs and video links) of all the dances we have learned in our classes since Sept 2010 at the end of the crib downloads page on our website harrowscottish.org.uk/downloads.html but of course your favourites may have been learned and danced elsewhere.
I was planning to add my own favourites to this opening post on the thread, but will need to whittle it down a bit first !
