How well do you know your dances ... try this quiz: 30 dances, first 8 bars only, and danced by only 1st M, 1st L, or 1st C. (for an extra challenge try it without the sound). NB answers will scroll at the end of the video (so replay just before you get to that point if you are wanting to have a second chance to name them).

15 out of 30. Not impressed with myself! I'm kicking myself about one jig in particular!

13 out of 30 (or possibly 14, as I think I named a dance with identical opening 7.5 bars). The music was giving a strong recognition factor for some, though I somehow missed a couple of favourites. (NB For others following on, there are two in the third section that I don't believe Harrow has ever done, but the others will have appeared on our programmes at some time, though some more frequently than others.)

Well you both did a lot better than me - so many were buzzing in my head and they were onto the next dance before my brain had a chance to unscramble the tune. My score - a very poor 10 out of 30 - I have to confess to putting the wrong dance for Wendy Henderson's favourite that we dance a lot in Harrow!!
